How To Look Your Best in 5 Minutes
Ok, so you know what I’m talking about. Your morning is crazy. Kids are running around, you’re running late, can’t remember where your keys are, you only have 15 minutes to get out the door and you’re still without your best face and hair done. Uff, what a disaster! Wishing you woke up few minutes earlier? Thinking about doing your makeup in a car? Wrong! Keep reading for great tips on how to look your best in 5 minutes or less.
I believe you removed your makeup in the evening, so you don’t have to worry about it right now.
So start brushing your teeth – 1 minute.
Wet your face, cleanse it with the cleanser (tip #1: Use 3-in-1 cleanser; it’s cleanser, exfoliation and toner in 1 product) – my favorite is TimeWise Age-fighting Cleanser from Mary Kay – 30 seconds. Wash it off (tip #2: Use warm wash cloth, it will remove cleanser better than just water, it will do work much faster and without unnecessary mess), dry your face – 30 seconds.
Apply your morning serum and eye cream – 30 seconds.
Go ahead with moisturizer – 30 seconds. Tip #3: Think about having tinted moisturizer for these in a hurry occasions – you get 3 products in 1 – moisturizer, sun protection and tint of foundation.
Foundation, powder – 30 seconds. Tip #4: If you don’t have tinted moisturizer, your product for now is powder foundation or cream-to-powder foundation, you’ll save time by using 1 product instead of two. If you used tinted moisturizer, go ahead with powder.
So we’re at 3.5 minutes and you still have some time for makeup. To keep it simple, here comes one of my great makeup tips – tip #5: Choose 3 makeup products you want to use today. Define what your face needs. It might be mascara, eye color, eye liner, brow liner, cheek color, lipstick, lipgloss, remember that you don’t have to have it all on your face to look great. Spend your 1.5 leftover minutes applying your 3 favorite makeup products and voila, you’re ready to go. Oh wait! Don’t forget your hair, outfit (tip #6: Prepare your outfit a night before to avoid rush in the morning), shoes, bag …and of course, your kids!
So remember: it doesn’t matter how late you are, still spend time to get yourself ready for the day, just KISS (Keep It Simple, Sweetie)! Cheers to a magnetic YOU!
